We are an every day family with three children between us,four cats,fish, and of course all our lovely rabbits.My husband works for a company making frames for settees and i work as a theatre(hospital) support worker.We are based in the Nottingham area very close to junction 26 of the m1, easy access for people from all areas.
We have kept and bred rabbits as hobbiests for a number of years now starting with giant french lops.Over time we have increased numbers and also bred Netherland Dwarfs for a time, we then started breeding mini lops,which we now solely breed . We have gained alot of knowledge and experience about the care and breeding of rabbits through our own experiences and from other breeders,always striving to improve our accommodation,enviroment and standards for all the rabbits,as we believe they deserve the best care possible.I am a member of the British Rabbit Council,who give us guidelines on the welfare and standards of our rabbits. we have entered numerous shows and had good results.
We are more than happy to give advice to people looking to welcome a rabbit into their lives and homes, though we wont let any rabbit go to anyone we think is not suitable and responsible enough to care for one of our rabbits.We also wont sell to anyone under the ageof 18.
All babies are handled from day one so by the time they leave here they are used to people, noise and other animals.
We offer healthy and well loved pure breed rabbits who are homed in sheds, with radios, fans and heaters.We clean them out at least once a week unless with babies and then this is done twice a week.
I feed my rabbits a combination of pellets and hi fi along with hay and water,to help ensure they all have a consistent diet which gives them healthy coats,teeth and bones to stay in top condition. All our rabbits are housed in good sized hutches to give them all plenty of room to sit,lie and move around.We let our rabbits exercise on rotation as much as possible by providing them with a fully enclosed garden with plenty of grass, and also numerous runs so we can have several out at a time (weather permitting though we do have covers !)
We love rabbits so much that we can provide short or long term boarding for all breeds in our rabbit accommodation,which comprises of well maintained and clean 4 and 5ft hutches contained within one of our sheds which is fitted with lights, fan and radio.
Our Rabbits are well cared for and treated as part of the family as yours will be, along with the cats,dog and children!

We have fully equipped sheds which my husband built for me,
you can see the progress and completion below
Stage two,the main frame of one shed has now been erected.Snowy our cat has been keeping an eye on proceedings !!
Temporary roof put on and hutches placed back in for now,whilst the other shed is started.
This next picture shows the front doorway section and the paneling sides.
This next picture shows the new doors,we have made stable type doors so rabbits can still run around if the weather is bad outside.
And finally for the moment,my lops in their new home !!

This is the end of alot of hard work by my hubby,both sheds complete with lighting inside and out,fans and heaters !
